What This Page Is For
The Affiliate payouts area in your site administration is where your team reviews affiliate commission payout requests: who is asking to be paid, how much, how they want to be paid, whether their identity verification (KYC) is complete, and the current status of each request.
Use it to find requests, check details, export a list when needed, and approve or decline payouts according to your internal process.
What You See at the Top (Summary)
Two summary figures usually appear above the table. They help you see the big picture at a glance (and may narrow when you search for a specific affiliate):
What You See | Plain Meaning |
Total requestable commission | The total unpaid commission affiliates still have available to request (across the scope shown—often everyone, or filtered when you search). |
Total requested amount (pending) | The sum of payout requests that are still waiting for a decision (not yet approved or declined). |
If the "pending requested" total is zero, there are simply no open requests waiting for action (for the current view/search).
The Main Table (Columns)
Column | What It Means |
The affiliate's account email. | |
Full name | The affiliate's name on file. |
Amount | How much they are asking to withdraw as commission. |
Method | How they want to be paid (for example crypto or other methods your platform supports). |
KYC completed | Whether their identity verification is complete. Many workflows require this before you can approve. |
Status | Where the request sits in the workflow—for example pending (awaiting decision), approved, or declined. |
Created | When the payout request was submitted. |
You can select rows when your system supports bulk actions (for example approving or declining more than one request at a time), subject to the rules below.
Finding and Organizing Requests
Search: Use the search box to find an affiliate by email or name.
Filters: Narrow the list by status and/or date so you only see what you need (for example "pending only").
Export: Download the current list for accounting or reconciliation, if your admin offers Export.
Your admin may also include a "How to use this section?" link or short video—use that for click-by-click help in your own environment.
Before You Approve a Request
In typical setups, approval is only possible when:
The request is still pending (not already approved or declined).
The affiliate's KYC is verified (if your policy requires it—and the screen will show this).
The requested amount does not exceed what they still have available as pending commission (the system checks this so you do not over-approve).
If something blocks approval, the system will show a short message explaining why (for example KYC missing or insufficient available balance).
After approval: The request is marked approved, the affiliate's available pending commission is reduced by that amount, and the affiliate usually receives a confirmation email (wording depends on your templates).
When You Decline a Request
Declining marks the request as declined and normally notifies the affiliate.
Important: In many configurations, declining also reduces the affiliate's displayed "pending commission" by the amount of that request—so their balance may go down even though they were not paid. Treat declines as a serious action and align with your internal policy (when to decline, whether to ask the affiliate to resubmit, etc.).
Bulk Approve / Bulk Decline
If your admin supports bulk actions:
They usually apply only to requests that are still pending.
Often all selected rows must belong to the same affiliate—if you mix different people, the bulk action may be blocked so mistakes are avoided.
If some rows are skipped (for example missing KYC or not enough balance), you may see a summary of what succeeded and what did not.
Viewing Where to Send Payment
When you open a single payout request, you may see payout instructions for that affiliate (wallet address, bank fields, etc., depending on method). Use copy buttons if provided, and always verify details against your payout process before sending funds outside the system.
How Affiliates Request a Payout (Overview)
Affiliates usually request a payout from their own account or app (not from this admin screen). They choose an amount (up to their available commission) and a method.
Commonly, they can only have one open payout request at a time—they may need to wait until a pending request is approved or declined before submitting another.
Quick FAQ
Why do I see approved or declined rows here if the page is about "pending" payouts?
The same list often shows all payout requests for visibility. Use filters to show pending only.
Why can't I approve?
Usually: the request is not pending, KYC is not verified, or the amount is higher than what they still have available.
Does approving pay them automatically?
Approval records the decision in the platform and updates balances; actually sending money may be a separate step in your finance process (especially for crypto or bank transfers).
Where do I see commission earnings, not just payouts?
Commission earned or per order is usually on a separate affiliate commissions or reporting screen—this page is focused on payout requests.
Support
If something in your admin does not match this guide (extra columns, different labels, or stricter rules), use your internal documentation or platform support—behavior can vary slightly by client configuration.
