TradeTech Solutions integrates with Rithmic using RProto, which requires SFTP access and Admin ID credentials. This checklist walks you through everything needed to get your firm integrated.
The process moves through two Rithmic systems, in order:
1. Rithmic Test — where we first verify the connection works.
2. Rithmic Paper Trading — the environment you'll run on. Access requires conformance approval (covered below).
Phase 1 — Request Integration with Rithmic
Email Rithmic to let them know you'd like to integrate.
State that your integration will be handled by TradeTechSolutions. Note that TTS uses RProto, so you'll need SFTP details, FCM Admin ID credentials and FCM Id/IB Id provisioned.Receive the onboarding kit from Rithmic. For the "Rithmic Test" system, it will contain:
SFTP details
FCM Admin Credentials
FCM Id/ IB Id
Phase 2 — Verify on "Rithmic Test"
Share the following with the TTS team:
SFTP details (from the onboarding kit)
FCM Admin Credentials
FCM Id/ IB Id
TTS will use these to confirm the integration is working correctly on the "Rithmic Test" system.
Phase 3 — Enable "Rithmic Paper Trading" (Conformance)
Access to "Rithmic Paper Trading" requires conformance.
Notify the Rithmic team that TradeTechSolutions is onboarding you, and they already have live integrations with multiple futures clients, so conformance is already passed.
Suggested wording: "TradeTechSolutions is onboarding us for the Rithmic
integration. They are already live integrations with several futures clients, so their
conformances are already passed. Please advise on enabling us for the Rithmic
Paper Trading system."
Rithmic will then confirm the credentials approved for the "Rithmic Paper Trading" system.
Phase 4 — Approval & Go-Live
Once approval is received from Rithmic, ping the TTS team to let us know access for "Rithmic Paper Trading" has been approved.
TTS will then complete your integration on the platform.
Login using IB Credentials to RManager and increase the max session to avoid forced logout.
